Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Security Officer for full-time patrol duties. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access control and badge processes, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

As part of a dynamic technology/location, you will provide excellent customer service, document activity, and follow site procedures while using tools to view shifts and report incidents. Applicants must meet minimum requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the telecommunications/technology location including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, unusual conditions, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation per site requirements.
