JAY HATFIELD MOTORSPORT OF CLAREMORE, a family-owned shop with 20 years of motorsports experience, seeks a skilled technician. You will perform repairs, test ride and diagnose units, and keep customers informed through the service advisor.

Qualifications

• Motorsports technician background with ATV/motorcycle experience desired.
• Teamwork skills are essential for collaborative repairs and service.
• Must supply own tools for on-site work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required; THC not tested.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair orders with attention to detail and quality.
• Test ride units and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Communicate with service advisor about repairs and any additional work.
• Estimate time needed for additional repairs and manage workflow.
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Know product offerings, packages and latest technology.
• Diagnose, service, install performance upgrades and repairs.

What You Will Do

• Perform work specified on repair orders with attention to detail and emphasis on quality
• Test ride units, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly to the service advisor to keep customers informed of repair and if any additional service is needed
• Time management ability for providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Performing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Know the in's and out's of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Accurately diagnose, service, install performance upgrades and repairs

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Strong motorsports technician background in motor sports (ATV's, motorcycles, etc.)
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Must have your own tools
• Must have valid driver's license and pass driving record check
• Strong teamwork skills
• At least 18 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (THC not tested for pre-employment)
