Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Pallet Teardown role at our New Jersey operations. The position supports our sustainable pallet and packaging solutions by inspecting pallets, salvaging reusable components, and performing repairs with a variety of hand and power tools.

You will lift up to 70 lbs, operate equipment, and work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious warehouse environment. The role offers full-time hours and opportunities for growth within a respected manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools (nail gun, hammer, Sawzall, etc.).
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Forklift experience is a plus — certification preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Inspect & Sort: Evaluate whitewood pallets and determine repair needs using established criteria.
• Cut & Reuse: Operate industrial table saws to salvage reusable components.
• Repair & Restore: Use nail guns, hammers, and other tools to bring pallets back to life.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain a tidy workspace with “clean as you go” practices.
• Stay Safe: Follow all safety procedures and company protocols.
• Hit Your Goals: Meet production and quality targets in a performance-driven environment.
