Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Teammate – Off Field Operations in Olathe, KS, to support store operations and athlete-friendly service on the floor.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with product knowledge, maintaining merchandising standards, and contributing to safe, inclusive shopping experiences. You will help with inventory, program promotions, and miscellaneous tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, assess needs, and provide helpful product knowledge and service.
• Uphold merchandising standards, floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory presentation and replenishment.
• Promote programs such as loyalty, warranties, and credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs, and comply with applicable laws.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone is welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store and take on additional tasks as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet everyone (Teammates and Athletes) and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience by providing helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (Teammates & Athletes) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
