Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Morrisville-NC / San Jose CA seeks a Senior Teamcenter PLM architect to lead business architecture, solution design, and workshops across global teams. You will drive end-to-end PLM processes and collaborate with ERP/CAD/MES systems to realize the digital thread.

The role requires strong Teamcenter expertise, stakeholder engagement, and experience in agile, cross-functional delivery. Location flexibility across U.S. sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter implementations and solution architecture.
• Deep understanding of PLM business processes and product lifecycle management.
• Expertise in Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN).
• Product Structure & BOM Management
• Document & Content Management

• Configuration Management
• Classification & Parts Management
• Experience conducting workshops and translating business requirements into functional solutions.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter modules such as Active Workspace, Structure Manager, Workflow Designer.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing consulting skills.
• Experience working in Agile and global delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead business architecture and solution design for Teamcenter PLM implementations and transformations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and future-state requirements.
• Define end-to-end PLM processes covering Product Development, Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Configuration Management, and Program Management.
• Conduct business process workshops, fit-gap analysis, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Drive functional solution design and collaborate with technical architects and development teams.
• Define Teamcenter data models, object structures, workflows, access control strategies, and governance frameworks.
• Support migration, integration, and digital thread initiatives involving ERP, CAD, MES and other enterprise systems.
• Provide strategic guidance on Teamcenter best practices, roadmap, and adoption.
• Create functional specifications, architecture documents, process flows, and user stories.
• Support testing, user acceptance, training, and deployment activities.
• Mentor functional consultants and lead customer-facing discussions.
