Find Great People | FGP is assisting a global manufacturer with a Teamcenter PLM Analyst role to support engineering teams, improve data quality, and drive standardized PLM processes across North America and Europe.

The position involves troubleshooting Teamcenter issues, assisting with migrations, and collaborating with PLM architects, CAD admins, and leadership to deliver a modern, multi-CAD Teamcenter environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

Our client is undergoing a major Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation. As part of this initiative, the company is expanding and standardizing its Siemens Teamcenter environment across multiple engineering locations in North America and Europe.

They are seeking a Teamcenter PLM Analyst to support engineering teams, improve engineering data quality, assist with migration efforts, and help drive consistent PLM processes throughout the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with engineers while supporting a modern Teamcenter environment that includes multiple CAD platforms and global collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will serve as a key resource for engineers and PLM users, helping ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the Teamcenter environment. You will provide daily support to engineering teams, troubleshoot Teamcenter-related issues, and help improve engineering workflows and data quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting engineering users within Siemens Teamcenter.
• Troubleshooting issues related to workflows, product structures, datasets, user permissions, and engineering data.
• Creating and maintaining Teamcenter queries and user access rights.
• Opening and validating CAD models in NX, Creo, and SolidWorks to identify data issues or missing references.
• Assisting with engineering data cleanup, migration, and standardization initiatives.
• Supporting engineering change and release management processes.
• Working closely with PLM architects, CAD administrators, migration teams, and engineering leadership.
• Developing training materials, user guides, and best practices documentation.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and PLM effectiveness.
• Acting as the liaison between engineering users and technical PLM resources.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Teamcenter users in a manufacturing or engineering environment and enjoy working directly with engineers to solve problems and improve processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Three or more years of experience supporting Siemens Teamcenter in a Teamcenter Administrator, PLM Analyst, Engineering Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience supporting engineering teams within manufacturing, industrial, transportation, aerospace, automotive, defense, or similar technical environments.
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter workflows, queries, datasets, lifecycle states, engineering change processes, and product structures/BOMs.
• Ability to review and troubleshoot CAD data using NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience supporting engineering release and change management processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BMIDE concepts and Teamcenter configuration.
• Experience supporting Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, or multi-site environments.
• Experience with engineering data cleanup and legacy system migration projects.
• Experience working in multi-CAD environments.
• Familiarity with Oracle and/or Power BI.
• Experience supporting Teamcenter integrations with ERP systems.
