Job summary

Ideal candidates combine strong Teamcenter functional knowledge with BOM/parts/documents management, change control, and CAD/ECAD integration experience. Medical Device domain experience (DHF/DMR/Design Control) is highly preferred, with familiarity in Siemens Xcelerator and cross-enterprise integrations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Teamcenter/PLM functional experience.
• Analyze current-state AS-IS processes and design future-state TO-BE processes within Teamcenter X.
• Lead requirements gathering, process discovery, and fit-gap analysis.
• Support Teamcenter X solutions covering: Part and BOM management, Document Management, Change Management, Workflow Management, Classification, Requirements Traceability.
• Experience with DHF, DMR, Document Control, and Design Control in Medical Device contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and process discovery for Teamcenter X implementations.
• Perform AS-IS vs TO-BE analysis and design future-state processes.
• Develop functional specs, process docs, and user guides for rollout.
• Support UAT, defect management, validation, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with SAP/MES/QMS integration teams and ensure data governance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Teamcenter X Functional Consultant to support the implementation and rollout of Teamcenter X across engineering, product development, and quality organizations. This person will work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business processes and requirements into scalable Teamcenter solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong Teamcenter functional knowledge with experience around BOMs, parts, documents, change management, workflows, CAD/ECAD integration, and engineering processes. Medical Device experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Teamcenter/PLM functional experience.
• Analyze current-state (AS-IS) processes and design future-state (TO-BE) processes within Teamcenter X.
• Lead requirements gathering, process discovery, and fit-gap analysis.
• Support Teamcenter X solutions covering:
  • Part and BOM Management
  • Document Management
  • Change Management
  • Workflow Management
  • Classification
  • Requirements Traceability
• Define business rules, workflows, lifecycle states, numbering schemes, and release processes.
• Experience supporting SolidWorks and Altium integrations with Teamcenter.
• Work with engineering teams on MCAD and ECAD data-management processes.
• Collaborate with technical and integration teams supporting SAP, MES, ALM, QMS, and other enterprise applications.
• Participate in UAT, defect management, validation, and deployment activities.
• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Support user training, change management, and adoption.
• Medical Device experience involving DHF, DMR, Document Control, and Design Control is highly preferred.
• Teamcenter X SaaS and Siemens Xcelerator experience are strong pluses.

Top Must-Haves: Teamcenter X functional implementation experience, strong PLM process knowledge, and experience with SolidWorks/Teamcenter and Altium integration environments.
