The Texas A&M University System Office in College Station seeks a Team Science and Interdisciplinary Research Facilitator to advance collaboration across TAMUS by connecting researchers, forming teams, and guiding large-scale initiatives.

You will design and implement team science programs, identify faculty with complementary expertise across TAMUS, and organize networking events and workshops to support convergence research and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

Job Description Summary: The Team Science and Research Matchmaking Lead strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration across TAMUS by connecting researchers, facilitating team formation, and advancing large-scale collaborative research initiatives.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Four years of experience in research development, team science, facilitation, or strategic partnerships.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of interdisciplinary research ecosystems and federal funding priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently make decisions.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree.
