Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Team Operations Manager to lead a large team within the Technology Sourcing and Innovation (TSI) function. You will drive people management, operational delivery, and performance across the team, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and service excellence.

The role requires advanced communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to work across diverse teams and regions.

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a people management role.
  • Experience working in a challenging commercial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, business and financial acumen.
  • Experience with Computacenter internal processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory roles within specialist areas to peer group, customers, and direct reports.
  • Manages, develops, and coaches team and implements performance management solutions where required.
  • Provides full line management responsibilities for direct reports.
  • Assess situations, issues and opportunities and escalate when appropriate.
  • A point of escalation on complex or serious issues or complaints and providing appropriate support to other team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and continual improvement in delivery of service to the business.
  • Establishes productive relationships and networks at an operational level to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Responsible for the adoption of CC best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service.
  • Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organization.
  • Embrace and support Computacenter's mission and core values.

About the role

The Technology Sourcing and Innovation “TSI” Team Manager will have managerial responsibilities for a large team and will be responsible for all aspects of people management within a functional area. The role will also be accountable for operational delivery and performance.

What you'll be doing
