Job summary

Express Mart is hiring a Team Member (Customer Service Representative) to join our Union, MO location. You will greet customers, operate the register, restock shelves, and keep the store clean while following safety and food service guidelines. The role offers day, evening, and overnight shifts with a competitive hourly wage of $15.00.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with cash registers.
• Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the gas station and assist as needed.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized store environment, including restocking shelves, display maintenance, store housekeeping, and floor moves.
• Maintain a clean store by cleaning countertops, fuel pumps, bathrooms, and disposing of trash.
• Uphold all food service guidelines when serving food.
• Ongoing promotion awareness and product knowledge.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and customer service standards.
• Practice safety with attention to spills, proper lifting techniques, and immediately reporting incidents to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
