Azzip Pizza, LLC. in Terre Haute, IN is hiring Team Members to prep ingredients, build pizzas, help customers and keep a clean dining room. Team Members are cross trained to work multiple positions and must bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Starting pay is $12.45 per hour with a $3 per hour tip guarantee. Paid Time Off is provided and each shift includes a free pizza. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and available evenings and weekends.

About this position

Azzip (pronounced \"Ay-Zip\") was conceived as an idea by founder Brad Niemeier while in college. As a student, Brad won Purdue's Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition and $20,000 to launch the business. With the help of friend Blake Kollker, an accomplished chef, Azzip's menu and concept went from business plan to reality. With mom as his accountant, dad as his handyman, and brother rolling dough, Azzip sold its first pizza on February 5, 2014, in Evansville, IN. Since opening, Brad has recruited other family members and friends to join the business to help spread Azzip to new pizza-loving customers.

Azzip Pizza is a fast-casual pizza company with 13 company-owned locations across Indiana and Kentucky. About the Role

Team members are the faces of Azzip Pizza. They are cross trained to prepare ingredients, build pizzas, help customers, and clean the restaurant. They are hard-working and accountable individuals who bring a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset to every shift. They enjoy making people happy and love pizza. Azzip expects all team members to perform at a high level, and thus Team Member pay starts at $15.45 per hour ($12.45 per hour base pay plus a $3 per hour tip guarantee). Team Members also earn Paid Time Off and get a free pizza every shift!

Every team member at Azzip Pizza is cross trained to work multiple positions at the store. All the positions at Azzip are responsible for working together to deliver a memorable customer experience that includes uncommonly great pizza, authentic customer service, and a spotless dining room.

Duties

• Follow Azzip’s processes to prepare fresh sauces from scratch, cut vegetables, and cook and pan meats for serving.
• Contribute to a fun work environment by being a great teammate and bringing a positive attitude.
• Fast paced and energetic kitchen with a focus on teamwork and customer experience.
• Kitchen environment can become hot from running ovens and other equipment. Air conditioning and ventilation systems are in place to make the environment as comfortable as possible.
• Exposure to airborne particulates from flour dust and other dry ingredients that may affect air quality.
• Exposure to allergens.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
