Job summary

Skyline Chili is hiring Team Members to provide friendly, efficient service in dining room, drive-thru, or production roles. Team Members may be cross-trained to assist in other duties as needed while maintaining a positive, energetic environment.

Team Members are expected to handle multiple tasks, follow health and safety guidelines, and deliver great guest experiences. Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required, with opportunities for part-time or full-time work in a fast-paced

• Must be at least 16 years of age and possess all documents and permits required by law.
• Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Server: dining room and/or counter service; communicate orders to Production Team Members; prepare and deliver beverages, silverware, crackers and food; observe guest dining and assist as needed.
• Drive-Thru: deliver drive-thru service; ring in orders; ensure items are prepared properly and within drive-thru standards; deliver beverages and serviceware; assist guests and handle payments.
• Production: prepare food orders quickly according to standard recipes; communicate with teammates to expedite orders; ensure items are prepared properly and on time.

It is desirable that each Team Member be cross-trained in each duty.ServerResponsible for dining room and/or counter service to guests. Communicates food order to Production Team Members. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. Prepares and delivers beverages, silverware, crackers and food. Observes guest-dining experience, responds to additional guest needs, gives guest check, and clears table.Drive-ThruResponsible for delivering drive-thru service to guests. Rings in orders and ensures that all items are prepared properly and within drive-thru standards. Prepares and delivers beverages, serviceware, condiments and food, ensuring order is bagged properly. Responds to any additional guest needs and cashes guest out.ProductionResponsible for preparing food orders quickly and according to standard recipes to ensure quality and avoid waste. Communicates with other Production & Server Team Members to expedite guest food orders. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.Work Requirements & Physical DemandsProlonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching and lifting. Job requires substantial repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and fingers.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This can include cases, service trays, spaghetti lugs, bus tubs, trash cans, and any other item up to that weight several times per shift.Ability to follow all health and safety laws, policies and procedures.
