Job summary

Popeyes is seeking Team Members to join our restaurant team in Romeoville, IL. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare and cook signature menu items, and help maintain a clean, efficient dining area to ensure a welcoming experience.

No prior experience is required as we provide training; we value a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required - we provide training!
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and a positive attitude, ensuring they feel welcome
• Take guest orders accurately and operate the cash register efficiently
• Prepare and cook Popeyes signature menu items according to brand standards
• Ensure all food is fresh, properly presented, and delivered in a timely manner
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, including dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior
• Stock supplies and keep workstations organized and clean
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with team members and managers to meet daily operational goals
• Assist with deliveries, inventory, and other back-of-house tasks as needed
• Lift and carry items and stand for extended periods

What You'll Do

• Greet guests with a smile and a positive attitude, ensuring they feel welcome

This position operates in a restaurant environment. Popeyes staff are frequently exposed to hot equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires regular standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
