Job summary

Popeyes is hiring Team Members to be at the heart of the restaurant, delivering great guest service and helping prepare delicious food.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting a positive team culture while following health and safety guidelines. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for growth within the restaurant family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service is a plus, but training is provided.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Ability to stand, couple with lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude and ensure they feel welcome.
• Take guest orders accurately and operate the register efficiently.
• Prepare and cook Popeyes signature items per brand standards.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests with a smile and a positive attitude, ensuring they feel welcome
• Take guest orders accurately and operate the cash register efficiently
• Prepare and cook Popeyes signature menu items according to brand standards
• Ensure all food is fresh, properly presented, and delivered in a timely manner
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, including dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior
• Stock supplies and keep workstations organized and clean
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with team members and managers to meet daily operational goals
• Assist with deliveries, inventory, and other back-of-house tasks as needed
• Lift and carry items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 30-50 lbs]) and stand for extended periods

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required - we provide training!
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment and may involve exposure to hot equipment, kitchen hazards, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift, including the ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
