Job summary

The Grounds Guys of Columbia is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to be the boots on the ground for our residential and commercial lawn care projects. You will perform high-quality landscape maintenance tasks while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role requires outdoor work in varying weather, physical stamina, and the ability to lift 35–80 pounds. Training within 6 months is available, and pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or lawn care is preferred.
• Willingness to complete training within 6 months.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Front-line lawn care provider delivering mowing, trimming, blowing, edging, weeding, and pruning.
• Work outdoors in all weather, performing physically demanding tasks and lifting 35–80 pounds.
• Ensure jobs are wrapped up and ready for the next day, with attention to quality and safety.

You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.o The team performs basic tasks related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality and service delivery. This includes but is not limited to mowing, string trimming, blowing, edging, weeding, pruning and edging.o You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.o You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.How We Measure SuccessAttendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals.
