O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a dedicated Injuries/Cust Serv Rep to manage first reports of injuries and related claim documentation. Responsibilities include data entry, notifying the claim administrator, and ensuring timely updates to workers on medical claims.

The TM Injury/Cust Serv Rep records first report of injuries for team member injuries, transmits claim reports and related documentation to claim administrator. Utilizes diary/task protocol to manage medical only claims and assist claim coordinator.
Take First Report of Injury for workers’ compensation losses by phone, e-mail and fax. Enters claim data into claim database. Notify claim administrator and field management as directed via reporting protocol. Contact made with injured worker date of injury. Proficiency in the processing and accuracy of all claim information is critical. Timeliness and confidentiality are mandatory.
Timely management of the claim administrator for medical only claims, including ensuring that return to work info updated with attention paid to length & detail of transitional duty. At least monthly calls made & documented with injured workers.
Supports and assists claim Coordinator(s) while following and adhering to claim guidelines/standards.
Extensive customer service to field management, Team Members, providers, etc., providing referrals to other resources such as claim administrator. CSR should provide assistance for O’Reilly specific questions.
Identify qualified physicians to provide treatment to injured team members. Maintain an up-to-date database on TeamNet with at least one physician per location. This database should be monitored and changed as needed.
Immediate notification to department Vice President, Director, Manager, and Claim Coordinator of any accident of a serious nature. Coordinator of Safety Team must be contacted immediately if any of the OSHA reporting requirements are met.
Consistent and complete utilization of workers’ compensation database and automated claim reporting. Database must be completed accurately and completely.
Daily file maintenance of e-mail correspondence. Review medical bills and work status reports, and as necessary, send to appropriate adjuster. Familiarity with and autonomous completion of assigned tasks, such as wage statements, notification of field management of hearings, depo(s), etc., and file processing as provided by Claim Coordinator.
Tasks include, but not limited to, updating closures/term reports/state specific forms/new store packet distribution.
Generate and distribute reports to Payroll, Benefits, Loss Prevention and Human Resources.
High School Education
High level of proficiency with computers and office equipment.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Insurance, medical, or legal experience would be a plus. Should have flexibility to work overtime as needed.
