Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to join our busy location. You’ll handle fountain and frozen items, food production, grill, fryer, switchboard, and possibly drive-thru, delivering friendly, efficient service.

Expect irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene while working as part of a cooperative team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of the food service/retail operations preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and making accurate change quickly.
• Providing food service to guests with enthusiasm.
• Packaging all menu items and checking for product quality and consistency.
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats.
• Preparing food orders, cooking on the grill, operating the fry station as needed.
• Cleaning the drive-in restaurants – including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counter-tops and sanitizing food areas.
