Job summary

ThredUp in Phoenix is seeking a Team Member in our Distribution Center to inspect, process and prepare secondhand clothing for resale. You will open bags, perform quality checks, and log brand, size, gender, and condition using a tablet and scanner.

Expect a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with tailored training, day-1 benefits, and growth opportunities. Weekend shifts ensure predictable schedules and competitive pay.

Qualifications

As a Team Member In Our Distribution Center, You’ll Inspect, Process, And Prepare Secondhand Clothing For Resale. Your Mission Has Two Parts

What You’ll Do
  • Open and unpack bags of gently used clothing from customers
  • Conduct quality checks on each garment
  • Use a USB scanner and iPad app with step-by-step prompts
  • Record details such as brand, size, gender, category, and condition
  • Photograph tags to capture product information
What This Role Requires
  • On-Your-Feet Work: Stationary standing your entire 10-12 hour shift, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs, and moving racks up to 150 lbs throughout your shift.
  • Performance: Achieving goals in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Willingness to Learn: Show up ready to learn - our structured training program with hands-on support in your first weeks will teach you everything you need to succeed.
  • Tech Comfort: Comfortable using tablets, scanners, and basic apps.
  • Adaptability: Adjusting easily to change and shifting priorities.
  • Reliability: Maintaining consistent attendance, on-time arrival, and teamwork.
  • Focus & Positivity: Bring attention to detail, speed, and an upbeat attitude to every shift.
WKND Shift Hours:

Friday-Sunday @ 6am-6pm

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Starting Pay: $18.50/hr for WKND shift ($17 base + $1.50 differential). Pay is based on shift worked and shift differentials may change.
  • Weekly Pay: Every Friday is FriYAY.
  • Pay For Performance: Consistently hitting or exceeding specific performance metrics can directly increase your pay, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $0.50 per hour each quarter.
