Job summary

Burger King in Chicago, IL is seeking a customer-focused Team Member to join our fast-paced crew. You will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and help ensure guest satisfaction with a friendly smile.

This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to multitask at multiple stations, including front counter and drive-thru. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for advancement within our growing franchise.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments and responds to customer issues.
• Operates cash register or POS devices and uses suggestive-selling to generate sales.
• Verifies accuracy of guests' orders.
• Prepares and packages food and drinks.
• Cleans kitchen areas, counters and utensils.
• Cleans dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds.
• Maintains Health and Safety standards in work areas.
• Unloads and stocks inventory as needed.
• Works at multiple workstations (front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter).
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance on shifts.
• Follows uniform and grooming standards and policies.
• Resolves issues that may arise in the restaurant.
• Learns team effectiveness skills and collaborates to achieve goals.

HERE-S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Operates cash register or point of sale devices, as needed and uses value-added suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities.
• Verifies the accuracy of guests- orders.
• Prepares and packages food and drink products.
• Cleans kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas and utensils.
• Cleans dining room, restrooms, and exterior grounds.
• Maintains Health and Safety standards in work areas.
• Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed.
• Performs duties at multiple workstations (e.g., front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter, etc.);
