Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is hiring for multiple store areas and is seeking dedicated individuals to support daily operations, merchandising, and customer service. You will help ensure shelves and cases are fully stocked, products are fresh and attractively displayed, and customers can easily find items throughout the store.

Positions span departments such as Bakery, Cheese, Deli, Produce, Meat, and Seafood, with competitive benefits and a strong focus on people.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide friendly assistance to shoppers.
• Willingness to assist with unloading deliveries and stocking shelves.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and address customer needs promptly.
• Keep cases and shelves clean, stocked, and presenting fresh displays.
• Monitor product quality, rotate inventory, check expiration dates, and remove damaged items.

We're looking for people to support the daily operations while preparing and merchandising products, maintaining quality and food safety standards, and providing incredible customer service. In this role, you'll ensure shelves and cases are fully stocked, products are fresh and accurately displayed, and customers can easily find the items they need!

What You'll Do

• Provide incredible customer service and address the needs of customers in a timely & effective manner
• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked
• Monitor product quality, rotate inventory, check expiration dates, and remove damaged or out-of-date items
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department while unloading deliveries and supporting inventory and merchandising activities
