Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Team Member who delivers day-making experiences through outstanding guest service and expertly crafted beverages. You will also help prepare food offerings and support multiple roles to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Preferred: restaurant, retail, or guest service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible guest service by building personal relationships, listening, anticipating guest needs, and making thoughtful recommendations.
• Hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures.
• Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food items according to SOPs.
• Float between barista and guest service, supporting all team duties as needed.
• Take guest orders, manage cash drawer, and follow cash handling policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, organized store and support operational standards.
• Proactively think about future team and guest needs and adapt accordingly.

Position Overview:

Core Responsibilities

• Provides incredible Guest Service by:
  • Developing personal ongoing relationships with guests

• Heats, prepares, and serves Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
• Floats between barista and guest service, and willingly fulfills all team member roles and responsibilities
• Takes guest orders & manages cash drawer and follows all cash handling policies and procedures
• Maintains the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
• Actively thinks and acts upon what the team and guest will need in the future
• Differentiates between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support

Skills And Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.

Compensation Range:

$11.23 - $18.71 per hour

• Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations.
• Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.
