Job summary

Smoothie King is hiring a Team Member in Omaha, NE. You will greet guests, blend smoothies, operate the POS, prepare ingredients, restock supplies, and keep the store clean. The role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Paid training, flexible scheduling, and employee discounts are provided. This part-time position offers opportunities for advancement with a supportive team focused on guest wellness.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years old and able to work legally in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation to get to work as shifts may vary.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work a minimum of three 4-hour shifts per week.
• Previous experience in food service or quick service is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and engage with them to offer guidance or suggestions.
• Blend smoothies and prepare other items following recipe standards.
• Operate POS/register and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
• Prep ingredients (fruits, veggies, powders, liquids, frozen items) and ensure freshness.
• Restock supplies and manage inventory of frequently used items.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, equipment, surfaces, and restrooms.
• Perform opening/closing duties and follow daily checklists and food safety policies.
• Support teammates during busy times and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities & Key Duties

As a Team Member, you’ll help ensure the store runs smoothly and every guest leaves happier than when they walked in. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Greet Guests warmly, engage with them, offer guidance or suggestions (e.g. smoothie flavors or nutrition options)
• Blend smoothies & prepare other fan favorites, following recipe standards to ensure quality and consistency
• Operate POS/register, ring up sales, handle cash/credit transactions accurately
• Prep ingredients: fruits, veggies, powders, liquids, frozen components — ensuring freshness and proper rotation
• Restock supplies, portion sizes, maintain adequate inventory of frequently used items
• Maintain cleanliness: wash dishes, sanitize equipment and surfaces, mop floors, clean restrooms and/or dining areas
• Perform opening and/or closing duties: setting up stations, shutting down equipment, counting cash, securing store
• Follow the store’s daily checklist / cleaning schedule / food safety & sanitation policies
• Assist teammates during busy times, help where needed (teamwork)
• Basic math skills, ability to follow recipes and portioning guidelines precisely
• Soft skills: patience and maintain composure under pressure, positive attitude, good communication, ability to multi-task
• Be punctual, dressed in uniform, ready for work with a great attitude

• Previous experience in food service, cafes, smoothie bars, or quick service restaurants
• Prior cash handling or POS/register experience
