Job summary

Wegmans in Norwalk, CT is hiring to support daily operations, merchandising, quality and food-safety standards, and outstanding customer service. You’ll ensure shelves and cases are stocked, products are fresh and clearly displayed, and customers can easily locate items.

In this role you’ll perform stocking, display upkeep, product rotation, and assist with unloading deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized department.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Experience merchandising and maintaining appealing displays.
• Familiarity with stock rotation and freshness checks.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.

We're looking for people to support the daily operations while preparing and merchandising products, maintaining quality and food safety standards, and providing incredible customer service. In this role, you'll ensure shelves and cases are fully stocked, products are fresh and accurately displayed, and customers can easily find the items they need!

What You'll Do

• Provide incredible customer service and address the needs of customers in a timely & effective manner
• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked
• Monitor product quality, rotate inventory, check expiration dates, and remove damaged or out-of-date items
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department while unloading deliveries and supporting inventory and merchandising activities
