Job summary

Whistle Express is looking for an Associate to start in a hands-on, fast-moving role on the lot, in the tunnel, and at the vacuum station. You’ll guide guests through the wash experience, keep the site running, and help make someone's day better.

No experience required. A 60-day certification program sets you up from day one, with base pay range shown and opportunities for growth within Take 5 Car Wash network.

Qualifications

• Must be physically active and able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Station and Sales: provide excellent customer service; assist with member sign-ups and account management; support sales growth and member changes.
• Wash Station Service: follow safety procedures; prepare vehicles; operate wash equipment safely; communicate operational issues to team.
• Convenience Station: engage with customers to ensure a positive experience; manage member accounts and inventory; maintain clean work areas and stations.
• General duties: open/close duties; keep tunnel clean and safe; prepare towels and materials.

This is a hands‑on, fast-moving position on the lot, in the tunnel, and at the vacuum station. You'll guide guests through the wash experience, keep the site running at full speed, and be the reason someone's day gets a little better. Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome Station and Sales Performance
  • Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Support sales and membership growth through consistent processes and knowledgeable guidance.
  • Assist with member sign‑ups, changes, and account management.
  • Follow company policies related to pricing and discounts.
• Wash Station Service
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized wash area.
  • Assist with vehicle preparation, including identifying preexisting conditions.
  • Operate wash equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational issues.
• Convenience Station
  • Engage with customers professionally to ensure a positive experience and encourage Google reviews.
  • Manage member accounts, including cancellations, plan changes, and overall member experience (CX).
  • Stock and organize detail centers to maintain accessibility and inventory accuracy.
  • Empty trash cans regularly and maintain clean work areas.
  • Maintain vacuum stations by checking for clogs and emptying canisters.
  • Perform general site upkeep, including trash pickup, weed removal, and other maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• General Duties
  • Maintain professional conduct and adhere to uniform standards at all times.
  • Perform opening and closing duties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Clean and maintain the tunnel to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare towels and other necessary materials to support daily operations.

Base Pay Range $9.20 - $14.00
