Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Team Member to deliver guest service and craft world-class beverages in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as part of a collaborative team, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and live Caribou's core values while building relationships with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Guest service — Develop personal ongoing relationships with guests; practice active listening and connection; anticipate needs and proactively address opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality; make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests; create day-making experiences that spark a chain reaction of GOOD.
• Hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures.
• Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings per standard procedures.
• Float between barista and guest service, and willingly fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities.
• Take guest orders, manage the cash drawer, and follow cash handling policies and procedures.
• Maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards.
• Proactively think about future needs of the team and guests; differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to escalate to leadership.
• Understand that the team manages multiple priorities and willingly take direction from leaders.
• Live the Core Values: Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve With Love.
• Approach every interaction with joy, a helping mindset, and a commitment to making a difference; be a reliable team player and supportive of others.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Preferred:

• Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These demands may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
