Job summary

Methodist Medical Group is seeking an imaging Team Leader/Senior Staff Technologist to supervise, coordinate, and evaluate activities within the department. You will plan, coordinate, and maintain the QA/KVI program and perform QC testing on equipment and accessories while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and maintaining high standards in ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine services.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program.
RDMS - Abdomen or OB/GYN.
Current Basic Life Support certification.
ARRT (S).
RVT (ARDMS), VS (ARRT), or RVS/RCVT (CCI).
3 or more years of experience preferred

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the position is to perform all the behaviors of the Staff Technologist and support staff. In addition, the Team Leader supervises, directs, and evaluates the activities of personnel. This individual plans, coordinates, and maintains the QA/KVI program for their assigned area(s) of responsibility as well as supervising and performing quality control testing of equipment and accessories used in the department.

Your Job Requirements:

Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
In addition to required entry level registries, the sonographer must demonstrate clinical competency in performance of abdomen, obstetric, and gynecologic, or vascular procedures
Current Basic Life Support certification
RDMS - Abdomen or OB/GYN
ARRT (S)
RVT (ARDMS), VS (ARRT), or RVS/RCVT (CCI)

3 or more years of experience preferred
