Job summary

West Coast Convenience is seeking a Team Leader to guide a fast-paced store in California. You will lead a retail team, drive sales, and ensure safe, efficient operations while delivering a welcoming customer experience.

You'll hire, train, and schedule staff, manage inventory and expenses, oversee cash handling, and uphold company policies and safety standards. A high school diploma and 9–12 months of leadership in retail are required; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays is

Primary Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 9–12 months of leadership experience in retail, convenience, or a similar fast‑paced environment, or equivalent education and experience
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and basic math skills
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and manage sales, expenses, and inventory
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Motivated to contribute to a performance‑driven team
• Must be 21+ years of age

Physical Requirements

The Team Leader position requires constant standing, bending and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity, and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. The Team Leader must be comfortable working in varied environments, which include outdoor areas during hot summer conditions as well as cold indoor spaces, such as walk‑in freezers.

Employee Incentives

• Employees that are with us for 6 months to 3 years = 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel
• Employees that are with us for 3 years to 5 years = 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel
• Employees that have been with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel
• MAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEK
