UPMC is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Team Leader to guide a dedicated team on the night shift (10:30PM-7:00AM) at the Kamin Tower project. You will lead by example to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will coordinate daily work, ensure adequate supplies, and collaborate with other departments to meet the needs of the unit while upholding hospital policies

Responsabilités

• Act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the shift supervisor.
• Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor.
• Communicate with unit personnel and other departments regarding specific needs to complete assignments.
• Ensure daily work of all team members is assigned and they work in the designated area.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available for subordinates and report problems to the shift supervisor.
• Inspect and ensure assigned areas are clean and in good repair.
• Follow safety and sanitation regulations; report problems to the shift supervisor.
• Comply with Hospital/Department policies and procedures.

In this key leadership role, you'll help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while coordinating and supporting a dedicated team of EVS Aides. Responsibilities:

• In the absence of the shift supervisor, temporarily act in a supervisory capacity; assume the responsibilities of the shift supervisor.
• Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor.
• Communicate with unit personnel and other departments regarding specific needs in order to complete assignments.
• Ensure that the daily work of all team members is assigned and that team members are working in assigned area.
• Ensure that sufficient supplies and equipment are available for subordinates. Report all problems to the shift supervisor.
• Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor.
• Comply with all Hospital/Department policies and procedures.
