Compeer Financial in Macomb, IL (with offices in Quincy) seeks a Team Leader Client Services to guide a hybrid team delivering credit and financial products. You will hire, train, and empower staff, ensure quality service, and promote our offerings.

You’ll support strategic initiatives, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate across departments. This role requires strong leadership and excellent communication within a flexible, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, marketing or related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations and compliance in financial industry and Farm Credit (preferred).
• Knowledge of farming operations and agriculture, along with basic accounting principles and procedures (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of credit, loan processing, loan servicing or loan closing in a financial lending environment (preferred).
• Leadership skills to lead remote team members.
• Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.

Directly oversees all team members within an assigned area(s) of responsibility. Supports the implementation of Compeer's strategic initiatives and serves as a role-model for the vision, mission and values of the organization.**A typical day:**Leadership* Hires, trains, develops and rewards a high performing team. Empowers team members to be decision makers within their role and use critical thinking skills to support the organization and clients.* Aids in establishing and developing guidelines to ensure the team provides a consistent quality level of service that is timely, thorough and responsive to all clients.* Assists leadership in defining the team's goals, providing clear expectations and feedback to all team members and monitoring the team's progress toward defined goals and objectives.* Creates a positive work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving organizational and team goals.
