American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Team Leader to guide our U.S. Military and Government travel service team, delivering outstanding support before, during, and after trips to federal clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, data-driven performance feedback, and collaboration with defense and government stakeholders to ensure travel experiences are seamless, compliant, and unforgettable across all moments of the journey.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as Travel consultant.
• 4+ years working in a customer service environment.
• Sabre GDS experience required.
• Experience issuing tickets and working Sabre queues preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of customer service satisfaction requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
• Desirable: Defense & Government experience, CMS, Avaya and Power Advantage.
• Hours of operation are 24 x 7 x 365; be prepared for late evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 8+ Years of experience as Travel consultant
• 4+ years working in a customer service environment
• Sabre GDS experience required
• Experience issuing tickets and working Sabre queues preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Expert knowledge of customer service satisfaction requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others
• Creative, open-minded and willingness to adapt
• Desirable: Experience in Defense & Government, CMS, Avaya and Power Advantage
• Hours of operation are 24 x 7 x 365. Please be prepared to work late evening or overnight shifts, as well as some weekends and holidays

CWT accepts Military experience/certifications as a substitute for some requirements.

The US national base salary range for this position is from $60.000K - $100.000K Annually.

The national range provided includes the base salary that the company expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
