Job summary

Woodport Doors LLC is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to supervise daily warehouse operations in Shawano, Wisconsin. You will lead a team, coordinate loading/unloading, monitor safety, and ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

This role requires strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. We value quality craftsmanship and teamwork within a family-owned Bayer Built Woodworks company.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of warehouse, distribution or logistics experience.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills including shipping software and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations.

• Coach and discipline fairly and consistently per policy.

TEAM LEADER

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations.
• Supervise and support warehouse team members day to day.
• Monitor team members' time and attendance, and address issues as they come up.
• Handle coaching and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently, following company policy.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper handling, safety procedures and company standards.
• Communicate with drivers, sales and office staff to keep orders flowing and customers satisfied.
• Monitor productivity and quality, and help put best practices in place.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Support company values and foster a respectful, team-oriented culture.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of warehouse, distribution or logistics experience; millwork or building materials experience preferred.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Experience handling long, heavy or irregularly shaped materials like doors, trim or wood products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills, including shipping software, inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification preferred (or we'll provide it).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
