Toyota Boshoku America seeks a dedicated team member to operate and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role focuses on meeting plant targets for safety, quality, efficiency and cost reduction, while contributing to continuous improvement projects.

Ideal candidates will have basic math skills, strong English communication, and 1–2 years in manufacturing, with a high school diploma or GED.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a manufacturing environment emphasizing teamwork, safety, training and discipline.
• Follow standardized work procedures and work sequence for each process.
• Work with team to improve standardized processes/methods, identify waste, methodically eliminate waste and standardize the new process/methods.
• Directly responsible for performance of assigned work area.
• Work in a team environment on safety, quality, productivity and cost improvement projects.
• Complete all working documentation, records and reports as requested.
• Understand all company policies and procedures.
• Be proactive and reactive to resolve abnormalities in the process.
• Use key performance indicators as a method of continuous improvement.
• Lead and direct Team Member activity.
• In area, instruct anyone to perform these duties.
• Use Kaizen in work areas for the opportunity to make the area or line efficient.

Physical Demands

Work Environment

This position is a typical manufacturing environment with a high noise level. Personal protective equipment will be required.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Hourly Position

Hourly wage: $22.72-$29.58 based on length of service
