Job summary

Rochester Dog Walkers in Rochester, NY seeks a capable leader to join our pet-care team. You will work hands-on with dogs, coordinate daily schedules, and support clients and staff with professionalism.

The role is part-time, offering 30-35 hours per week with a mix of admin and field time, weekday 9–4, plus one weekend per month and on-call opportunities. Vehicle ownership and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Must own your own vehicle and have a valid driver license.
• Maintain auto insurance and have a smartphone with unlimited data.
• Be coachable and able to coach others.
• Must be 18+ and able to handle large dogs on leash.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and coordinate admin tasks.
• Drive between client homes and provide in-home pet care.
• Maintain on-call schedule and respond promptly.
• Support team with a positive, professional attitude.

DETAILS:

• 30-35hours per week (split between admin time and field time)
• Shift is ~9-4pmMonday through Friday + One weekend per month
• On-Call availability is a must one week per month (on-call bonus!)
• Service Area based on company needs (travel time will not exceed 30 minutes on average)
• Admin time AND Field time is paid
• You will drive from house to house according to company scheduleproviding in-home pet care services, as requested by client

What We are Looking For:

• Must own your own vehicle, have a valid driver license, and maintain auto insurance
• Have leadership experience (at least 1 year)
• Have prior experience working with dogs
• Be coachable and able to coach othersMust have a smart phone w/unlimited data (and able to use our apps)
• Must be over 18
• Must be able to handle large dogs that pull on leash
• Must be willing to commit for at least 8months
• Must be comfortable with open and direct communication
