Follett Corporation is seeking a Team Lead to work closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The role includes receiving, pricing, and stocking merchandise while ensuring team training and compliance. As a leader on duty, you will address customer and team concerns, ensuring a safe environment and smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant experience, an Associate's Degree, and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Job description

Position Overview

The Team Lead works closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet the needs of the store's customers and drive sales and profits. Assist Team Members with completing the work within the store. Ensures all team members receive the appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training. Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, opening and closing the store, and ensuring all bookstore property and team members are safe and secure.

Pay Range

$12.00-$24.33/hour

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
