AWARE invites applications for a Team Lead in Butte, MT. This full-time role directs the PACT clinic team, ensuring high-quality treatment and support for clients with complex mental health needs.

You will oversee scheduling, meetings, and program planning, driving service excellence within a compassionate, inclusive workplace. The position emphasizes leadership, clinical coordination, and community engagement as part of a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Public Health Services, Human Services, Non-profit Management, or related field.
• One year of administrative and program management experience.
• Advanced degree (MS/MA/PhD) in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of MT state administrative rules, program design and planning.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance, learning, motivation and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and directing the PACT, a self-contained clinical team providing treatment and support to clients with severe mental illness.
• Supervising the multidisciplinary team and coordinating health care goals with psychiatric and health support.
• Directing day-to-day clinical operations, scheduling staff for day/evening/weekend/holiday shifts and on-call hours.
• Leading daily staff and treatment planning meetings.
• Evaluating client status and coordinating treatment activities to address changing needs; representing the agency publicly.

Responsibilities

• Establishing, administering, and directing the Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), a self-contained clinical team which assumes responsibility for directly providing needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
• Supervising and evaluating the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric and physical health support to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful services to program clients. Ensures coordination and integration of health care goals into treatment.
• Directing the day-to-day clinical operations of the PACT/Health Team including scheduling of staff work hours to ensure appropriate coverage for day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts and on-call hours.
• Leading the daily organizational staff meetings and treatment planning meetings.
• Evaluating the status of clients and does appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs. Represents the agency in public meeting and engages community stakeholders.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities:

• BA/BS degree in Public Health Services, Human Services, Non-profit Management, business Management or any other related field.
• One-year experience in administrative and program management, and experience in health-related field
• An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or related field as well as a current professional license or candidate license is not required but preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable State of Montana administrative rules and policies, program design, program outcome and strategic planning.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
