Job summary

SOSI is seeking a highly qualified senior Team Lead to support the African and Middle Eastern regions in the NCR. The Team Lead will serve as the management and technical lead for all contractor personnel, coordinating day-to-day analytic tasks, and ensuring timely, high-quality intelligence products in accordance with directives and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Intelligence, National Security or related field
• 10+ years of intelligence analysis or analytic-enabling experience
• Experience supporting Defense and Intelligence Agencies
• Experience with NSS/NDS alignment and strategic competition priorities
• Prior experience as Team Lead or first-line supervisor on a government intelligence contract
• Deep regional expertise in the Middle East and Africa including counterterrorism and militant/insurgent network analysis
• Certifications such as CDASA-I or equivalent IC analytic tradecraft certifications
• Arabic, Farsi, or French reading/listening capability (desired)
• Experience integrating multi-disciplinary intelligence (all-source, C4I, cyber, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT)
• Familiarity with Intelligence analytic production systems (e.g., MARS/MIDB)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the management and technical lead for all contractor personnel performing functions in support of the assigned regions
• Provide senior-level subject matter expertise to the African and Middle Eastern regions and complete complex analytic tasks independently
• Lead or direct the work of contractor personnel assigned to the regions
• Support the overall TO Program Manager and serve as the primary technical point of contact for the regions
• Oversee the day-to-day production and dissemination of all-source intelligence products
• Support analysis of insurgent/militant organizations and counterterrorism efforts
• Ensure personnel meet contract performance objectives and quality standards
• Assist the PM in managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk
• Ensure staffing continuity and avoid vacancies beyond 30 days
• Coordinate task assignments to contractor personnel within the regions
• Maintain relationships with customers, COR, and stakeholders
• Coordinate with PM and other Team Leads for resource optimization
• Support surge and optional tasks with Government authorization
• Contribute to timely, accurate contract deliverables per CDRLs
• Ensure work complies with ICDs and SOPs
• Respond to customer inquiries and preemptively alert on issues

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified senior-level Team Lead to support the African and Middle Eastern regions for a contract in the NCR. This Team Lead is designated key personnel and serves as the management and technical lead for all contractor personnel performing functions in support of the African and Middle Eastern regions. The Team Lead is responsible for providing senior-level subject matter expertise on the African and Middle Eastern regions, completing complicated or complex tasks independently, and leading or directing the work of contractor personnel assigned to the regions. The Team Lead works directly for and supports the overall TO Program Manager (PM), coordinating the day-to-day execution of analytic and analytic-enabling support, ensuring the timely and high-quality production of intelligence products in accordance with applicable Directives, SOPs, and applicable tradecraft standards. The Team Lead ensures that assigned personnel meet performance objectives, maintains effective relationships with customers and stakeholders, and serves as a primary technical point of contact for the regions. The Team Lead supports staffing continuity and assists the PM in managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk within the regions.

Essential Job Duties

• Serve as the management and technical lead for all contractor personnel performing functions in support of the assigned regions.

• Provide senior-level subject matter expertise to the African and Middle Eastern regions, completing complicated or complex analytic and analytic-enabling tasks independently.

• Lead or direct the work of contractor personnel assigned to the regions, ensuring effective coordination and task execution.

• Support the overall TO Program Manager and serve as the primary technical point of contact for the African and Middle Eastern regions.

• Oversee the day-to-day production and dissemination of all-source intelligence products in accordance with analytic tradecraft standards, ICD 203/206.

• Support analysis of insurgent/militant organizations, tribal/ethnic socio-cultural dynamics, and counterterrorism.

• Ensure assigned personnel meet contract performance objectives and quality standards.

• Assist the PM in managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk within the regions.

• Support staffing continuity, ensuring no position within the regions remains vacant more than 30 calendar days without an excusable delay.

• Coordinate assignment of tasks to contractor personnel within the regions in support of Government requirements.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, the COR, and stakeholders within the regions.

• Coordinate with the PM and other Team Leads to ensure the optimal use of assigned resources and cross-center integration.

• Support surge and optional task requirements within the regions upon Government authorization.

• Contribute to the timely, accurate delivery of contract deliverables (e.g., status reports, records of meetings) in accordance with the CDRLs.

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable ICDs and Intelligence agency SOPs.

• Be readily available to respond to customers' inquiries and proactively alert the PM and customer to potential technical or programmatic issues.

Qualifications

• Active in scope TS/SCI security clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Intelligence, National Security).

• 10+ years of intelligence analysis or analytic-enabling experience.

• Experience supporting Defense and Intelligence Agencies.

• Experience with NSS/NDS alignment and strategic competition priorities.

• Prior experience serving as a Team Lead, task manager, or first-line supervisor on a government intelligence contract.

• Deep regional expertise in the Middle East and Africa (Northern Africa, East Africa/Horn of Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Levant, the Arabian Peninsula, Iraq, and Iran), including counterterrorism and militant/insurgent network analysis.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CDASA-I, or equivalent IC analytic tradecraft certifications).

• Arabic, Farsi, or French reading/listening capability (desired).

• Experience integrating multi-disciplinary intelligence (all-source, C4I, cyber, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, etc.).
