Job summary

Learning Care Group in Texas is hiring a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classroom instruction, model best practices, and ensure daily care in compliance with licensing standards.

You will lead curriculum implementation, support families, mentor new teachers, and step into director duties as needed. Our centers emphasize growth, safety, and a positive, engaging learning environment for children and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote growth of children and lead classroom instruction.
• Communicate with families to support child success.
• Mentor new hires and teachers with trainings.
• Assume Director duties in absence, including opening/closing.
• Deliver daily care per licensing guidelines and center standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
