Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an experienced manufacturing associate to operate and maintain assembly line machinery, ensuring efficient production of product throughout the shift.

You will monitor quality, identify issues, and support team members to meet daily targets. Prior experience with line equipment, safety procedures, and production reporting is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools through extensive work experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments with emphasis on line stability and efficiency.
• Ability to monitor output quality and identify defects for rework.
• Leadership in daily operations, coaching and reviewing work of junior staff.

Accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment at fixed workstation positions including: Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly as it moves along the assembly line. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. A Support 4 requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include: Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.. Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees..
