Job summary

SKAN Group is seeking a senior ICT leader to drive the further development of our hybrid ICT infrastructure and actively steer the transformation toward the cloud. You will combine architectural expertise with operational excellence, ensuring stable, secure, and future‑proof ICT operations for our international organization.

You will lead the ICT Engineering & Operations team, shape cloud strategy, and advance Microsoft-based systems across on‑premises and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in senior technical roles within an enterprise infrastructure environment.
• Extensive experience in the engineering and operation of complex hybrid ICT infrastructures.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Server environment.
• In‑depth experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and cloud migrations.
• Knowledge of automation and standardization of operational processes.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam).
• Good knowledge of networking, VPN, security, and infrastructure concepts.
• PowerShell and automation experience is a plus.
• Excellent German and English language skills.

• Planning, managing, and implementing infrastructure and cloud projects from conception through to successful go‑live.
• Further development of the Microsoft‑based system landscape in a hybrid environment (on‑premises & Azure).
• Active involvement in shaping and implementing the cloud strategy.
• Evaluation and migration of existing services to hybrid or cloud‑based architectures.
• Definition and further development of technical standards, operational, and automation concepts.
• Active involvement in shaping, applying, and continuously developing established ITIL processes.
• Integration of international locations into a standardized and scalable infrastructure.
• Supporting the team with complex technical issues and contributing to 2nd/3rd‑level support.
• Coaching and professional development of team members.
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers.
