Job summary

AGCO is seeking a Lead in Engineering, Mechanical Validation Lab, to drive testing programs across fatigue, NVH, hydraulic systems and structural validation. You will mentor staff, lead cross‑functional teams, and elevate lab capabilities to deliver robust, reliable products.

You will oversee daily test operations, introduce new measurement technologies, ensure QA and safety compliance, and collaborate with design, CAE and product development to accelerate validation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; 15 years engineering experience.
  • Experience with Fatigue, NVH, hydraulic testing, rig testing with data acquisition.
  • Proficiency in advance Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily test operations and guide team to complete work safely and on schedule.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance and provide technical direction.
  • Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Coach and develop employees; promote disciplined, collaborative environment.
  • Provide hydraulic systems validation and fatigue expertise to meet schedules and budgets.

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Team Lead, Engineering, Mechanical Validation Lab
Dynamic and results‑driven Mechanical Laboratory Supervisor with over 15 years of engineering experience in structural performance evaluation, fatigue testing, NVH analysis, and hydraulic systems validation. Demonstrated expertise in leading technical teams, managing high‑complexity validation programs, and driving continuous improvement in laboratory operations. Proven ability to collaborate with design, CAE, and product development teams to accelerate product validation and deliver industry‑leading reliability and customer satisfaction. Strong leadership presence with a track record of improving test capabilities, optimizing resources, and mentoring technical staff.

Lead initiatives to improve lab efficiency, automation, accuracy and equipment utilization. Introduce new technologies, sensors, data acquisition tools, and testing methodologies to strengthen validation capability. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, calibration guidelines, and audit requirements. Maintain accurate test records, track project statuses, and ensure transparent communication between stakeholders

  • Responsible for daily Test operations, guiding team members and ensuring that work is completed accurately, safely and on schedule.
  • Assign tasks, monitoring performance, and providing technical direction to support high quality outcomes.
  • Responsible for communication with management and cross functional teams, resolves operational or technical issues quickly and ensures compliance with organizational standards and procedures.
  • Support employee development through coaching, performance feedback and skill-building opportunities while fostering a disciplined, collaborative and productive work environment. Responsible for process improvements, maintains essential documentation and ensures that resources and equipment are effectively managed to meet project and organizational goals
  • Responsible for providing Hydraulic systems validation and fatigue expertise to team to ensure program objectives are accomplished according to established schedules and budgets. Responsible for understanding the CAE requirements and support for Test – CAE correlation
Your Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree (Masters in Engineering is preferred) with 15 years of engineering experience.
  • Extensive Experience with Mechanical & Mechatronics testings like Fatigue, NVH, ROPS/ FOPS, Hydraulic testing, Compliance & Homologation, Rig testing with tress/strain Data Acquisition, Accelerometer & load transducer
  • Experience in Material testing & composition & test methodologies
  • Proficiency using advance Office & Project Management tools.
  • Good Experience in Manufacturing Process
