The Gund Company is hiring a full-time Team Lead for its Oil & Gas Division. This role supports production, operates CNC and other machinery, and mentors operators. A technical degree and 2+ years of experience are preferred, with overtime as needed.

The position offers a first shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am with an hourly wage of $26.00+ based on experience, in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with PPE required.

Job Summary Team Lead

As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties Team Lead

• Be a technical resource for operators.
• Train and develop less experienced operators with the help of the Value Stream Manager (VSM.
• Complete work order paperwork and maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Operate machines like saws, winders, manual mills, lathes, routers, and more.
• Conduct in-process inspections according to standard procedures.

Requirements

Required

• A technical degree and 2+ years of experience preferred, or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Intermediate math skills & aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand drawing and blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry

Work Environment Team Lead

• This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
• The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
