Responsibilities

• Unloads raw materials from railcars.
• Leads, trains, and mentors the packaging team to meet production goals.
• Plan and stage supplies and raw materials to avoid production delays.
• Make minor equipment adjustments and setups.
• Maintain a safe industrial work environment and enforce safety policies.
• Ensure well‑being of team and care of equipment.
• Implement OE goals in the packaging area and pursue continuous improvement.
• Maintain high safety, product quality, and productivity levels.
• Keep the workplace clean and organized; perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities-

• Unloads raw materials from railcars
• Leads, trains, and mentors the packaging team, assuring production goals are met
• Planning and staging all required supplies and raw materials on time as to not slow production according to the daily production schedule
• Able to make minor adjustments and setups to equipment
• Must maintain a safe industrial work environment, able to enforce and adhere to all applicable safety policies
• Held accountable for the well-being of team members and the care of equipment
• Implementation of all associated Operational Excellence goals with the packaging area
• Ensure highest level of safety, product quality, productivity
• Ensures housekeeping is maintained to the acceptable standards
• Other duties as assigned

OE/Lean

• Operational level understanding of the OE principles and tools
• Open to change and helps to encourage and advance continuous improvement
• Generates ideas to improve processes and safety

Education: High School Diploma/GED
