Job summary

Learning Care Group in Oak Valley, TN is seeking a Team Lead to advance the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in a licensed preschool setting. You will lead classroom instruction, manage daily activities, and model excellence in care while partnering with families to support each child’s development.

You’ll mentor new hires, assist with director duties in absence, and help ensure all licensing standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care and lead classroom management.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support the child’s achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist with training of new hires and fellow teachers.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening/closing the school.
• Ensure daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:

• Experience in a licensedchildcarefacility, leading a classroom,andimplementing lesson plans.
• College credits towardsEarlyChildhoodEducation orChildDevelopment degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
