Job summary

Specialized Education Services Inc. is seeking a Team Lead to supervise program staff including special education teachers and school staff, driving student outcomes and staff growth. You will ensure IEP-aligned instruction, monitor progress with data, and collaborate with families to support each learner’s full potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning required.
  • Extensive experience with students with behavioral challenges preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all students are educated in accordance with their IEPs.
  • Observe classrooms regularly using formal and informal methods.
  • Lead weekly staff meetings to share information and address concerns.
  • Attend monthly Goal Review with Supervisor and demonstrate growth.
  • Involve parents with regular education events and updates.
  • Ensure health, safety, and well-being policies are followed.
  • Perform staff supervisions including monthly Goal Reviews.
  • Identify staff and program needs and arrange professional development.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
The Opportunity

The Team Lead will be responsible for the Supervision of program staff, including special education teachers, school social workers, teachers, and climate managers. Every child deserves to reach their full potential, and we are looking to hire an exceptional leader who will play an essential role in fueling student and staff success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all students are being educated in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Observation of classrooms regularly both formally (using observation forms to provide appropriate staff feedback) and informally
  • Weekly staff meetings to impart information, suggestions, and issues of concern that affect the program and the staff
  • Attending and participating in a monthly Goal Review with Supervisor; demonstrating consistent growth and goal completion
  • Involving parents in the educational program regularly as well as providing regular parent education events throughout the school year
  • Ensuring that all state licensing policies relating to the health, safety, and well-being of the children attending the program are followed and in compliance
  • Performing staff Supervisions including Goal Reviews monthly, giving staff the opportunity for self-evaluation and growth
  • Identifying staff and program needs and obtaining professional development opportunities to address those needs
  • Other duties may be assigned

Posted Salary Range

Starting from USD $65,000.00/Hr.
