Planet Fitness - PF Baseline Fitness in Kearney, NE is seeking a Team Lead to assist in gym operations and ensure a positive member experience. You will help train staff, supervise front desk activities, and support the Club Manager in delivering outstanding service.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, leadership and communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing staff.
• Oversee member service ensuring great customer experience.
• Front desk tasks: answer calls, take info, assist check-ins and sign-ups, update accounts, and greet members.
• Facilitate member service issues and questions.
• Assist with team member management and provide backup to Club Manager.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain a positive club image.
• Assist in overseeing cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
• Assist in marketing efforts and train staff on promotions.
• Assist in ordering supplies, keeping inventory and tracking reports.

Job Title: Team Lead

Reports to: Club Manager

Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing staff.


• Assist in member service oversight making sure all staff provide great customer experience.


• Very involved in front desk related tasks:
  
  
  
  • Answering phone calls in a polite and friendly manner to assist with questions or concerns.
  
  
  • Taking info calls.
  
  
  • Assist in member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and updating member account information.
  
  
  • Great/meet potential members and provide gym tour.
  
  
  • Assist to facilitate member service issues and questions.
  
  
  
  


• Assist with team member management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.


• Ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.

• Assist in managing marketing efforts. Making sure team members are aware and trained on all current marketing promotions.


• Assist in ordering supplies, keeping inventory and tracking reports as needed.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift


• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
