Job summary

DP World is seeking a warehouse associate in the Carlisle area to support growing operations. You will work in a traditional warehousing environment, picking parts and moving items according to customer orders.

The role emphasizes attention to safety, reading documents, and teamwork. Night shift is Sunday to Wednesday from 6pm to 4:30am, with opportunities to contribute to a global logistics team and gain supply chain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Self-motivated and reliable.
• Able to work with a diverse team.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders and determine items to move, gather, distribute and/or ship.
• Move items from bulk containers to shelves and bins following a set sequence.
• Fill requisitions and place items in designated areas.
• Scan materials and move them per standard work instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Hours are Sunday through Wednesday, 6pm to 4:30am

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Work is performed in a traditional warehousing type environment and picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and places them in designated areas.
• Scans materials and moves them according to standard work instructions where applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Hours are Sunday through Wednesday, 6pm to 4:30am

Your Key Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Self-motivated
• Able to work with diverse group of people and be a team player
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
