Job summary

La La Land Cafe in Calabasas, CA is seeking a Team Leader to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain top-level customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach teammates, ensure safety and sanitation, manage schedules, assist with inventory, and help drive the cafe's mission of kindness and inclusivity.

This role requires stamina, the ability to stand long shifts, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

• Complete administrative tasks accurately.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing support to existing team members.

• Assist in scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage.
• Support marketing and promotional activities as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between team members and upper management to communicate concerns or suggestions.

A Team Leader will oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow during assigned shifts. This role involves managing team members, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure efficient operations during shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

• Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds, such as supplies and inventory.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment, such as cash registers and computers.

Work Environment:

This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, often requiring collaboration with team members to meet customer demands. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
