in the biological sciences, a strong commitment to pedagogy, and a focus on teaching and advising undergraduates. Experience with evidence-based teaching is encouraged; postdoctoral experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD in the biological sciences with a strong pedagogy focus.
• Evidence-based teaching experience; postdoctoral experience preferred.
• Ability to teach biochemistry or developmental biology and lab courses in anatomy & physiology, microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Teach commonly four courses per year.
• Contribute to the academic life and governance of the Department, College of Arts and Sciences, and the University.
• Mentor students and participate in undergraduate mentoring and pedagogy scholarship.
