Responsibilities

• Supervise Student Academic Support by tutoring and reinforcing instructional content.
• Provide Laboratory and Shop Guidance, ensuring proper and safe use of equipment.
• Under supervision, may serve as instructor of record and present prepared materials.
• Prepare instructional spaces for labs and shop sessions and secure materials after use.
• Assist in assessment by grading assignments and maintaining confidential student records.
• Test and maintain instructional equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
• Help develop and prepare training aids and materials for course content.
• Initiate requisitions for consumables and equipment repairs for classrooms.
• Maintain inventories of instructional supplies and equipment and secure assets.
• Supervise student workers and monitor safety in instructional areas.
• Support Operational needs by transporting items and assisting with logistics.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to communicate classroom needs and equipment status.
• Plan and prioritize instructional support tasks within timelines, balancing multiple duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety, grading, and record-keeping policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve instructional support processes and workflows.
