Job summary

University of Texas at Austin's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for multiple faculty roles at Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Distinguished Senior Lecturer, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Instruction, or Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Practice to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

Appointments may be full-time or part-time, renewable annually, with priority given to full-time professional-track faculty on longer contracts.

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience.
• Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred.
• Industry work experience is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses within the undergraduate and graduate Electrical and Computer Engineering curriculum.
• Develop and update course materials, assessments, and design projects.
• Contribute to diverse undergraduate and graduate student populations across multiple areas.
